Massage at work improve profits?
Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” answered a survey in 2003’
They found that massage is an employee benefit at 90 percent of the “best” companies, compared to 66 percent of those not on the “best” list.
Working Mother magazine, in its 18th annual survey of the “100 Best
Companies for Working Mothers,” reported that 77 percent of the “best” companies offer therapeutic massages, versus only 11 percent nationwide.
Obviously these survey’s were conducted to prove that complementary and alternative therapies, such as massage, might help reduce health costs and increase company profits. Ok so it may not prove that, but it certainly suggests that successful companies believe there is a benefit and look after their prized workforce.
